Panama Hotel Guide now offers three classes of listings.

• Premier listings will include all the information now offered in all listings.
• Basic Listings will include only the Hotel name, address, phone number and URL.
• Free listings will include only the Hotel name and phone number.

Premier listings are listed first, followed by Basic and lastly Free listings. Panama Hotel Guide visitors are much more likely to contact hotels with Premier listings as they are the listings seen first, they contain a photo of the hotel along with description and other important information. Basic listings will still include a link to the hotel's site but no photo, description or other information. Free listings do not have a link to the hotel's website so a potential guest will have to phone the hotel to obtain that information.

All new listings will have to choose the type of listing they want and pay the appropriate fees before the listing will be approved. Hotels previously listed will retain Premier Listing status until January 1, 2009. At that time, if payment has not been received, the status will be downgraded to a free listing.

All hotels that have enjoyed the benefits of free listings over the last three years will now be given the choice of how they want to be listed in the future. Premier listings offer the greatest advantage as they include a photo and all hotel information plus premier listings are displayed first for all hotel searches.

We must receive your payment by December 31, 2008 to continue listing your hotel as either premium or basic. If no payment is received by that date, your hotel listing status will be downgraded to free beginning January 1, 2009. We are keeping the listing prices low to allow every hotel the ability to continue with premier listing status. Premier listings are only $25 per year and Basic listings are $10 per year.

We accept payments through PayPal which allows you to pay directly by PayPal if you have an account, or to use your credit card to pay. The business name on our PayPal account is Joy Group.

On the PayPal "Review your payment" page there is a link "Add special instructions to merchant". Be sure to click on this link and enter your hotel ID, hotel name, your name and email address. If you do not do this, we will have no way to know what hotel made the payment. The hotel ID is shown with your hotel listing on the website and is also in the email message we sent you about our change in policy.
